Singin’ and Beatbox at The Parlor (Video)

Singin’ Saturdays at The Parlor Hollywood used to be an Open Mic Night a few months ago but they’ve changed it up a bit. The show now features local rising stars, such as my friend Hewan (check her out on Facebook) and as an added bonus on the first Saturdays, they have a beatbox competition.

I don’t know if you’ve ever seen a beatboxer (is that a word) perform live but it’s pretty dope to watch! These guys were pretty creative too… EVMB vs. BR-1 (what are these names?). Apparently BR-1 has won the competition 5 months in a row but on this night, things changed! EVMB took the trophy and will return next month to defend his title.
